On the fifth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me....
If you have been reading my blog for the past year you will have become very familiar with these products and just how much I will sing their praises. They have worked fantastic on Ceaser's mud fever and have allowed me to use alternative therapies rather than buying expensive products from my vets or tack shops. The fifth products I want to recommend on my Christmas feature is the Aloe Vera products.
Lorraine at Pet Food for thoughts kindly donated a whole pack of Aloe Vera products to me earlier in the year when I appealed for help and advice on what to do about the bad mud fever Ceaser was getting.
I was given a wash scrub, two creams and a gel that I was put into his feed when I thought his immune system was low to boost it.
The Aloe products in my opinion were absolutely second to none and truly did work a treat. In stead of having to spend an absolute fortune on creams and other bits from my vets or local tack shop, I could in stead use these and they did just as good a job!
The creams helped to soothe the area with mud fever and made it less sore for Ceaser when it was particularly bad. Plus, just after two days of being on the gel he had his spark back and didn't feel so lethargic.
I urge anyone looking at using alternative products to treat problems on their horses to look at the Aloe Vera products!
