On the fifteenth day of Christmas my true love gave to me....

This is another product I used to help combat Ceaser's mud fever back in the spring when he was suffering from it quite badly.

The fifteenth product I want to recommend is the brand new Hypocare from Horseware.

Hypocare is a topical application that mirrors the body's own immune system. By working naturally alongside the body it kills all bacterial, viral and fungal infections on contact.

Hypocare is widely known already to work on fungal infections, such as Ringworm, Mud fever and thrush. Whilst some are under the impression it can be harmful to horses, it is completely safe.

Hypochlorous is the main active ingredient and is naturally already produced by the body's own immune system. This is where the mirroring of the body's own immune system comes in to force.

Whilst Hypochlorous is amazing and between 80-300 times more effective at killing pathogens than hypochlorite or bleach, it IS kind to healthy tissues and ensures that it will not slow down the healing process. Despite being used to kill potential infections in places such as operating theatres on surgical appliances, it is completely safe to use and very effective.

For those who read my blog on a regular basis you will know I reviewed this product earlier on in the year for Horseware. After only a week of using Hypocare, Ceaser's cracked heal due to the mud fever was a lot drier and looked less sore. In stead of washing his legs I sprayed Hypocare on which did the job for me!
